The North Judson-San Pierre School Board considered an addendum to the approved Teacher Contract when members met last week.
Superintendent Dr. Annette Zupin shared why the addition was being proposed.
She explained, “When we approved and ratified the teacher contract, if you remember, we were in the midst of changing insurances and so we have committed the extra money toward the teacher plan so what you have is the addendum that dictates the amount that the school corporation pays.”
Superintendent Zupin initially highlighted this switch when the Board met in October and the teacher contract was approved during a special meeting in November.
The board members provided unanimous approval for the addendum to be added into the contract during their first meeting of the year last Tuesday.
