North Judson Town Council Approves Transfer Resolution

North Judson Town Council members approved a transfer resolution when they met last Monday.

Clerk-Treasurer Andrew Rowe informed the council that the resolution would allow him to move money around to balance out the 2019 budget.

He explained that there are certain accounts, like the ones set aside for additional Motor Vehicle Highway expenses or insurance costs, which are generally estimated. Since the specified amount is an educated guess, those accounts oftentimes need to be supplemented with money from other line items where funds were left over.

Within the General Fund, Rowe stated that about $20,375 needed to be transferred from one line item to another, $31,000 was transferred within the MVH Fund and $600 was transferred within the Park Fund.
