Knox Residents still have a chance to get involved with the City’s Façade Improvement and Downtown Revitalization planning process but time is running out!
Knox Mayor Dennis Estok updated City Council members on the online survey that was created by Ball State’s Department of Urban Planning.
He explained, “They’ve only had 25 surveys done online. Nobody has picked any up at City Hall so basically, if you know of anybody [who hasn’t taken it] tell them to get on do that survey.”
Estok mentioned that in addition to picking up hard-copies at City Hall at 101 West Washington Street, the survey can be accessed through the city’s website.
The survey only contains 20 questions and answers are being collected through Friday, January 31st.
The purpose behind this portion of the process is to give the City’s partners at Ball State University an accurate and comprehensive understanding of who lives in Knox and what residents want to see.
The more people who take the survey, the more information they have to work with as they create the draft designs and plan.
