The West Central School Board members will consider a naloxone policy when they meet tonight.
Superintendent Dan Zylstra said staff members participated in training in order to use naloxone kits if necessary and a policy for their use will be considered by the school board tonight. Naloxone kits are used in case of an opioid overdose.
In addition to board reorganization, the board also plans to review year-end transfers to round out the 2019 budget, look toward the 2020-2021 school year with staffing, and receive information from the principals on items of interest.
