Winamac Clerk-Treasurer Melanie Berger discussed the “100 R Form” with the Town Council when members met for their first meeting of the month.
She told members, “We have to submit to the State of Indiana the wages of all of the employees so the 100 R is what we have to upload into the Gateway Portal. It’s public access to anybody can go in and pull up anybody’s wages throughout the state of Indiana.”
Berger noted that the document was due to the State Board of Accounts by the end of the month and she submitted ahead of time on January 8th.
The wages that must be submitted are only for municipal employees. School corporations are also required to follow this procedure.
