The Oregon-Davis Boys Basketball team is getting a financial boost, in memory of a former teacher. Industrial arts teacher Ron Henigsmith passed away December 31. A $640 anonymous donation is his memory was accepted by the school board last week, according to Superintendent Dr. Don Harman.
He says the board also approved the hiring of Thomas Glennon as Henigsmith’s replacement. “Thomas is an O-D grad and has manufacturing background, so he is approved,” Harman says.
Board members also approved a list of transfers to officially close out the 2019 budget.
