O-D School Board Accepts Donations for Sixth Grade Field Trip, Girls Golf Team

The Oregon-Davis School Board recently accepted funding to help with the cost of a sixth grade field trip, but COVID-19 concerns mean it won’t be able to happen this year. Superintendent Dr. Don Harman says the Cheryl Lyn Welter Family Charitable Foundation gave $350.

“Obviously, that field trip has been canceled,” Harman explains. “But we’re going to plan to utilize those funds and keep that for next year, and we’re going to let the Welter Family Foundation know that.”

Harman says the Oregon-Davis School Board also accepted an anonymous donation of $63.17 for the girls varsity golf team.
