The Pulaski County Commissioners approved a number of agreements last week. Those included a rent agreement with Tim Alexander for county-owned farmland. The commissioners said it’s been the same for several years.
They also agreed to let Assessor Holly VanDerAa renew her agreement with Midwest Presort. Deputy Cindy Hickle explained that the company processes, sorts, and sends the state-mandated Form 11, which notifies taxpayers of their property’s assessed value.
Additionally, Mary Penksa was reappointed to the Monterey-Tippecanoe Township Public Library Board, and the commissioners voted to let EMS Director Brandon DeLorenzo switch his department’s cable service to DISH, since the current provider is discontinuing the service. He said the new two-year contract will cost about $12 less per month than the current agreement.
