Winamac Park Board Gets $500 Check for Proposed Pickleball Shelter

The Winamac Park Board has gotten its first donation for a proposed shelter near the Town Park’s pickleball courts. Board President Jon Chapman presented a $500 check during Thursday’s meeting.

“This is from Betsy Hintz’s t-shirt sales, to have some seed money to try to get a pickleball shelter over by the pickleball courts,” Chapman explained.

That money will be placed in the Park Gift Fund. Chapman said there may be some more coming in, since shirts are still being sold.
