This year’s Winamac Town Park cleanup day is scheduled for Saturday, April 4 from 8:00 a.m. to noon. It’s a chance for residents and local organizations to help with various tasks. The date was finalized during last week’s park board meeting.
Board President Jon Chapman said he’d like 4-H and Northern Indiana Power from the Past representatives to meet with Park Manager Dave DeLorenzo to come up with some priorities for volunteers to tackle this year. DeLorenzo said the annual park cleanup has always been a successful day, with a lot of work getting done in a few hours.
The Winamac Park Board also agreed to let Kingdom Kids daycare host another color run fundraiser in the park on Saturday, April 25 from 8:00 a.m. to noon.
