Governor Highlights Pulaski County Scrappy Sewers’ Mask-Making Efforts

The efforts of a Pulaski County sewing group are earning praise from Governor Eric Holcomb. The Pulaski County Scrappy Sewers were highlighted during Wednesday’s state COVID-19 briefing.

“They’ve done over 3,000 facial coverings or masks to date,” Holcomb said. “And their model is one lady leaves them out on the front porch, and then you take what you need and that’s it. And if that isn’t Hoosier, I don’t know what is.”

The governor thanked the Scrappy Sewers on behalf of the state and those who are protected by their product and generosity.
