Firefighters with the Koontz Lake Volunteer Fire Department recently received a generous donation of supplies.
Items donated include masks, glasses, hand sanitizer, other Personal Protective Equipment, and cleaning supplies which will help keep first responders safely equipped during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Fire Department officials say there was a limited supply of these items when the pandemic struck, but donations of N95 masks and the other supplies came in from the community during this time of need.
The Koontz Lake Volunteer Fire Department thanks representatives of Starke County Helps Organization, the Seventh Day Adventist Church, the community, and the Koontz Lake Association for their efforts.
