Marshall County COVID-19 Cases Rise to 14, More State Deaths Recorded

The total number of positive COVID-19 cases in Marshall County has risen to 14 while Starke County has eight cases and Pulaski County has one case.


According to additional information released by the Indiana State Department of Health on Saturday morning, 7,435 Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 with 537 more cases reported.  Reports show another 30 Hoosiers have died of the novel coronavirus which brings the count up to 330. 

Free drive-thru testing clinics will be available for healthcare workers, first responders and essential workers who have symptoms of COVID-19 with proper State of Indiana-issued identification card and documentation of place of employment.  Those locations include two in the Northern Indiana area at Ivy Tech in Fort Wayne and St. Timothy Community Church in Gary.  They will be open April 13-17 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time. 

Marion County has 2,742 cases of COVID-19, Lake County has 676 cases, St, Joseph County has 186 cases, and Porter County has 107 cases.  La Porte County is reporting 31 positive COVID-19 cases, Jasper County has 16 cases, Elkhart County has 71, Kosciusko County has 17, and Fulton County has three positive COVID-19 patients.
