Pulaski County is reporting its first case of COVID-19. The Pulaski County Health Department announced a presumptive positive case of the novel coronavirus Sunday. Health officials say the patient is self-isolating at home, and no additional information about the individual will be released due to privacy laws.
The Pulaski County Health Department says it’s working with local and state officials to identify and monitor those who’ve been in contact with the patient. Steps are also being taken to make sure all infection control protocols are being followed.
The county had previously announced a positive case, but it later turned out that person actually lived in Starke County.
