LaPorte Man Arrested Following Report of Disturbance at Michigan City Motel

A LaPorte man was arrested Monday, after police got a report of someone wielding a knife and trying to kick in the door of a motel room at the Dunes Inn in Michigan City.

LaPorte County sheriff’s deputies say they were called to the motel in the 3900 block of North Frontage Road around 5:30 a.m. When they got there, police say they found a man matching the description, along with a knife with a serrated blade about 12 inches long.

Javier P. Noyola, 34, was booked into the LaPorte County Jail on suspicion of the Level 5 felony of intimidation.
