The West Central School Board members are starting the process to refinance bonds for the corporation’s wind turbine.
Superintendent Dan Zylstra said interest rates are lower at this point as school officials are attempting to lower costs.
The school board members plan to hold a work session next week with bond counsel to review options moving forward.
The wind turbine has been in operation at the school corporation since 2012.
