The public beach at the Culver Park is now open with a few restrictions.
Park Superintendent Amber Cowell told the Culver Town Council members last week that the park will be limited to 50 people at a time until June 14. At that time, 150 people will be allowed at the beach at one time. The staff members will be monitoring the number of people on the beach. Cowell said people will need to wait to enter if the maximum number of people is met.
She also commented that the concession stand will be open and customers are asked to observe a social distance of six feet between each other. The staff will be properly equipped with masks and gloves. Disinfection efforts will be conducted hourly in the lobby and concession areas.
Lifeguards will have their own life saving equipment which will be disinfected on a daily basis.
Cowell reminds patrons that if you are experiencing any symptoms of sickness, stay home.
