Leaders of Pulaski County Nonprofits Can Brush Up on Management Skills with Training Series

Leaders of Pulaski County nonprofit groups can brush up on their management skills. The Community Foundation of Pulaski County has announced its Excellence in Nonprofit Management Series.

Between June and October, the five sessions will focus on strategic planning, marketing, and fundraising, among other topics. The first session, “Build a Championship Board Team!” will be held June 24. Each class will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Winamac. Those who successfully complete at least four of the five sessions, including strategic planning, can get a Certificate of Excellence in Nonprofit Management.

The community foundation says the training series was developed following a recent survey of nonprofit groups’ greatest needs. It’s the first program in the foundation’s new Forward Thinking Leadership Initiative. For more information about how to sign up, visit cfopc.org or call 574-946-0906.
