The Starke County Council members and Starke County Commissioners will meet in joint session this morning where they will consider an additional appropriation request from the North Judson-Wayne Township Public Library.
Prosecutor Leslie Baker will request a pay increase for the pre-trial diversion officer, Sheriff Bill Dulin will look for a commitment from the council for the Retirement Fund for budgeting purposes, and Clerk Bernadette Manuel will request the purchase of e-Poll books for the November General Election.
Two CF-1 proposals will be presented the council for approval by American Oak and Gary Poppins.
The Starke County Council and Commissioners will meet at 9 a.m. CT today followed by the regular meeting of the Starke County Commissioners.
K-IRPC representative Shawn Cain will have a grant agreement approval for the COVID emergency project for the commissioners to consider, Sheriff Dulin will talk more about a squad car request and Highway Superintendent Rik Ritzler will have contracts for consideration for the two upcoming Community Crossings Matching Grant projects.
A WTH GIS contract with Corelogic is also up for consideration by the commissioners this morning along with the approval of the dedication for the Starke County Veterans War Memorial project. A resolution to use OCRA funds for the Starke County Government Mobile Food Delivery Program will be presented and a discussion will be held surrounding the findings and order and a petition from Argento, LLC.
Both meetings will be held in the ground floor meeting room in the Starke County Annex Building No. 1 at 53 E. Mound Street in Knox. The meeting will also stream live on YouTube.
