State Health Commissioner Dr. Kristina Box said she has been working with Northern Indiana leaders in looking at a spike in numbers in the Elkhart and Goshen areas. She noted that the Latino community is experiencing an increase but it is consistent with the number of testing being done. Marshall County Health Administrator Ashley Garcia commented on the MAX 98.3 FM morning show with Tony Ross that the minority population in Marshall County has also seen an uptick in cases which includes the Latino community.
