N.J.-S.P. School Board Adjusts Lunch Prices, Textbook Fees

North Judson-San Pierre students will be paying more for lunch this fall. The school board recently voted to raise lunch prices by 10 cents. Superintendent Dr. Annette Zupin said the increase was required to keep N.J.-S.P. within paid lunch equity guidelines. Breakfast prices will stay the same.

Board members also approved textbook fees for the coming year. Zupin said fees went up for many students, to cover the cost of the new English/language arts textbooks for kindergarten through eighth grade. But she added that book fees at the elementary school will still be under $100, keeping it in line with other area schools.
