North Judson-San Pierre School Board Extends Administrators’ Contracts

The North Judson-San Pierre School Board has approved contract renewals for its administrative staff. The school board Tuesday extended Superintendent Dr. Annette Zupin’s contract by one year through June of 2023. Her annual salary will remain at $104,000.

Junior/Senior High School Principal Jim Polite’s contract was renewed through June of next year. His annual salary will go up by $800 to just under $89,000. Recently-appointed elementary school principal Cary McKay was given a two-year contract at $82,000 a year.

Salaried non-teaching staff, including the business manager, maintenance director, and technology manager, will also get raises. Zupin told board members that those increase amounts correlate with those given to teachers last fall. Hourly employees will get the pay raises specified by the schedule adopted last year, but Zupin said it was being updated to reflect adjustments to the responsibilities of various job categories.
