Pulaski County nonprofit groups can get COVID-19 relief funding through White County United Way. The organization says it’s gotten a $400,000 COVID-19 Economic Relief Initiative Grant from Indiana United Ways with funding from the Lilly Endowment.
Social service organizations in White, Jasper, or Pulaski counties that are dealing with the physical, social, and economic effects of the coronavirus can apply for a share of that money. The United Way says it’ll give special priority to agencies looking to ensure the sustainability of the regional social service network, reduce gaps in access to health care and mental health care, increase virtual services, or raise the number of people who can get services for basic needs.
Applications can be found at WhiteCountyUnitedWay.org/CommunityRelief. They’ll be reviewed on a monthly basis by a joint fund advisory board.
