Efforts to help Starke County respond to COVID-19 have gotten a $5,000 boost. The Starke County Community Foundation says its Emergency Relief Fund recently received a donation from First Farmers Bank & Trust.

Any donations to the fund will be used to address community needs related to the COVID-19 pandemic, such as the Starke County Government Mobile Food Delivery Program. Donations can be made at nicf.org or by sending a check to the Northern Indiana Community Foundation, P.O. Box 807, Rochester, IN 46975, with “Starke County Emergency Relief Fund” in the memo line.
