Marshall County is reporting another 12 cases of COVID-19. A total of 287 Marshall County residents have tested positive as of Saturday’s report from the Indiana State Department of Health. Starke County had three more cases, bringing the total up to 51, while Pulaski County remains at 52. No new deaths were reported in any of those three counties.
For the first time, Indiana has now released a breakdown of COVID-19 by zip code. Locally, the 46563 zip code that includes the City of Plymouth has had the most cases at 151. It’s also had the most cases per capita.
The Winamac-area zip code has had 24 COVID-19 cases. The Knox area has had 18. You can find the number of COVID-19 cases in your zip code on the state’s map. However, unlike the county-level data, which are updated daily, the case count by zip code will only be updated every Monday.
The state as a whole reported 432 new COVID-19 cases Saturday, bringing the total up to 39,543. Another 17 deaths were reported, for a total of 2,231. Indiana has also had a total of 182 deaths that are believed to be COVID-19-related, but there was no positive test.
