Graduating seniors from West Central High School will get their diplomas in an outside graduation ceremony on Sunday, June 21 at 7 p.m. ET at the football field.
Superintendent Dan Zylstra said the West Central School Board members were reminded of the big day at the recent school board meeting. If the weather doesn’t cooperate on that day, graduation will be held in the high school gymnasium with proper social distancing.
Senior academic awards will be included as part of the ceremony while scholarship recipients will be recognized on an insert in the graduation program. All are being celebrated as seniors wrap up their K-12 careers.
Rehearsal is Friday, June 19 at 10 a.m. and seniors must be present in order to participate. A cookout will be held following the rehearsal.
