One additional person has died from COVID-19 in Marshall County, bringing the number of COVID-19 deaths up to 12. The number of people who have now tested positive for the coronavirus is 574, an increase of four from Monday’s report from the Indiana State Department of Health.
In Starke County, two additional positive cases of COVID-19 were reported to bring that cumulative total to 110 while Pulaski County has not seen an increase in cases in over a week. The total there remains at 66.
Almost 5,200 COVID-19 tests have taken place in Marshall County, 1,483 tests have been conducted in Starke County and 1,074 tests have been taken in Pulaski County.
The Indiana State Department of Health on Tuesday said 662 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the state with an increase of 13 deaths statewide.
Over 158,000 tests have been reported to the Indiana State Department of Health.
According to the Regenstrief Institute, of the 52,685 people who have been diagnosed with COVID-19, 78 percent, or 38,914 people, have recovered from the virus while 19 percent, or 9,453 people, are actively fighting the virus.
