Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum to Offer Summertime Excursions Tomorrow

The Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum is offering another chance to take a train ride tomorrow. Ten-mile excursions across the Kankakee River and back leave the North Judson depot at 12:30 and 2:00 p.m.

The museum is on a limited schedule this year, as it adapts to the COVID-19 pandemic. Visitors have the chance to ride in open-air cars, and museum officials say seating may be reduced.

They add that the cars, depot, restrooms, and gift shop are all being sanitized on a regular basis. All visitors and volunteers are required to wear masks if they’re unable to maintain six feet of social distancing.

Passengers are encouraged to get their tickets ahead of time at HoosierValley.org or by leaving a message at 574-896-3950.
