The food pantry at Community Services of Starke County is open to assist residents with needs.
Officials there have made the necessary arrangements to make visits as safe as possible, according to Manager Jimmie Howard. The food pantry is open Monday, Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. CT at the Community Services of Starke County building at 311 E. Culver Road in Knox.
Those wishing to make donations can drop off non-perishable items during operating hours. Families typically get a three-day grocery supply when they utilize the pantry’s services.
