Eastern Pulaski students are getting some help through the COVID-19 pandemic, thanks to the local community. Frain Mortuary announced last week that it donated 280 child-sized masks to Eastern Pulaski Elementary School. Jon Frain said in a statement that the business remains dedicated to partnering with local schools and helping them provide a safe and positive learning environment.

Meanwhile, Superintendent Dara Chezem says a number of other donations were accepted during last month’s Eastern Pulaski School Board meeting. Mary Ann Fritz donated $950 to the school corporation to help students who’ve suffered from COVID-19’s financial impact, while Bonnie Budd donated $300 to Eastern Pulaski’s Helping Hands fund, according to the draft meeting minutes. Board members also accepted the donation of an American flag from Lonnie King.
