Several short-term paving projects in La Porte and Porter Counties are set to begin on Tuesday, Sept. 1.
Indiana Department of Transportation representatives say that paving will be done under lane closures with flaggers directing traffic.
Crews will work on U.S. 35 (Pine Lake Ave) between Johnson Road and State Road 39 on Sept. 1, State Road 39 at County Road 400 and State Road 39 at County Road 500 on Sept. 2, State Road 2 at Old State Road 2 on Sept. 2, U.S. 20 between State Road 49 and State Road 520 on Sept. 8, and I-94 between U.S. 421 and State Road 49 on Sept. 14.
The schedule is weather dependent and subject to change.
