The West Central School Board members are continuing efforts to refinance wind turbine bonds.
Superintendent Dan Zylstra said previously that the corporation could save over $50,000 by refinancing those bonds.
“With the interest rates where they are right now, we can refinance those at a lower rate and pull out some of the money in savings from that to use for other capital projects,” stated Zylstra.
The school board members hope to complete paperwork on that process yet this fall.
