The West Central School Board members are working on the budget for 2021. Superintendent Dan Zylstra said the board approved the advertisement of the budget during their meeting last week.
Zylstra commented, “The challenge this year, and every school district is facing this, revenue projections and number of students is difficult to project that far in advance. You just don’t know. The State has agreed to fully fund education right now through the 2020-2021 school year, but that could always change.”
More budget hearings are expected this fall.
