Constellation of Starke Seeking Potential Volunteers with Online Survey

Constellation of Starke is making a second attempt at gathering volunteers to help with its regional development and community improvement efforts. The group is asking residents to fill out an online survey to gauge their interest in serving on one of its subcommittees.

Constellation of Starke says it got 270 responses when it conducted a similar survey in March. But because a lot has changed since then, they want to see how many people are still interested. Specifically, the group is looking for residents to serve on subcommittees for each of the county’s communities, as well as subcommittees focusing on Health, Housing, Transportation, Outdoor Recreation, and Youth and Education.

Constellation of Starke has been seeking a Stellar Community designation from the state, which would open the door to millions of dollars in grant opportunities. The region is currently working on recreational facility upgrades around the county, with the $333,000 it got for being a finalist last year.
