Crews Making Progress on Knox Elementary, High School Additions

Work continues on the Knox Community School Corporation’s $20 million building project. Construction manager Larson-Danielson recently gave an update to school officials, according to Superintendent Dr. William Reichhart.

“The project’s currently running about six days ahead of schedule, and everything seems to be going pretty well,” he says. “The weather has been perfect for the project.”

Construction crews are currently building a masonry wall for the new high school multipurpose room, and workers will soon start enclosing the third- and fourth-grade addition at the elementary school. Additionally, Reichhart says the new scoreboard is up at the high school football field.

Now, the school board plans to hold a groundbreaking ceremony for the building project and dedicate the rebuilt high school track during halftime of this Friday’s football game.
