The Knox City Council Tuesday approved a new traffic pattern for the intersection of Carlson Drive and Pine Street. Traffic on Pine Street will now have to stop, while Carlson Drive traffic will have the right of way.
Mayor Dennis Estok said the request was made by a local resident. “He said sometimes if you watch the cars, it’s confusing, and I drove down there,” the mayor said. “I’ve always thought it was crazy the way they have it.”
Estok said the stop signs would be moved sometime today.
