Nine New COVID-19 Cases Reported in Starke County

Nine new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Starke County, according to Thursday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health.  The overall total of cases in Starke County is now up to 238.

In that same report, Marshall County had two new cases for a cumulative total of 974 and Pulaski County’s total case count is holding at 112. 

Officials from the Indiana Department of Health said an additional 850 Indiana residents have been diagnosed with COVID-19 to bring that overall total to 108,646.  According to the Regenstrief Institute, 85,334 people have recovered from the virus while 13,202 are currently fighting the virus. 

A total of 3,253 residents are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of six from Wednesday’s report.  The number of deaths makes up for three percent of the overall total of COVID-19 cases.
