Small Increase in Local COVID-19 Case Numbers

The additional number of Indiana residents diagnosed with COVID-19 was listed at 624 in Wednesday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health which brings the state’s overall case total to 107,809.

Marshall County had an increase of six new cases to raise the cumulative total to 972, one new case of COVID-19 was reported in Starke County to increase the overall case total to 229 and Pulaski County’s case numbers held steady at 112. 

A total of 3,247 Hoosiers have died from COVID-19, an increase of 12 from the previous day.  No new deaths were reported locally.

To date, 1,261,892 unique individuals have been tested in Indiana. A total of 1,770,032 tests, including repeat tests for unique individuals, have been reported to the state Department of Health since Feb. 26.
