The water service has returned to residents of Culver following repairs to a break in the water main line Thursday morning.
Town officials stress that while water service has been restored it is critical to continue to follow a boil water order that is in effect until further notice. It is recommended that all cooking and drinking water be brought to a complete boil for five minutes before consuming it.
Water samples will be taken and they must meet all drinking water standards before the boil water order is lifted.
Water department crews will be flushing fire hydrants to remove air from the water system on Friday. If water is discolored, simply let the water run for a few minutes until it clears.
