The Town of North Judson is once again asking residents not to feed stray cats. Town Marshal Kelly Fisher told the town council last week that the code enforcement officer has been getting complaints about a the number of cats in town.
“People are feeding them and they’re petting them and they’re not wanting to leave,” Fisher explained. “And nobody wants to claim them, but they’re all running around town.”
Fisher said the town is going to begin trapping the cats, but she pointed out that the Starke County Humane society was full.
