The Winamac Town Park will soon get a new wheelchair-accessible swing. Phillip Crippin has offered to add the swing as part of an Eagle Scout project. After reviewing his proposal, the town’s park board earlier this month agreed to let him proceed.
Crippin previously told board members that the project would include the frame, a single swing, and a concrete pathway. It would be installed near the existing playground equipment, close to existing ADA-accessible parking.
