Food Finders Food Bank will distribute food in Star City this morning. A drive-through distribution will be held starting at 11:00 EDT at the Star City United Methodist Church at 2347 East Main Street, according to Food Finders’ website.
Items such as produce, frozen meat, canned goods, baked goods, and laundry soap will be distributed to those meeting income guidelines. Food Finders asks clients not to arrive before 10:30 and to stay in their vehicles at all times. The distribution is sponsored by the White County United Way, with funding from the Lilly Endowment distributed by the Indiana United Ways’ COVID-19 Economic Relief Initiative Grant.
Meanwhile, the Food Bank of Northern Indiana says it will hold a drive-through distribution in Culver Community High School’s west parking lot on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to noon EDT.
