Knox School Board to Adopt 2021 Budget, Discuss Collective Bargaining Agreement Tonight

The Knox School Board is expected to finalize the school corporation’s 2021 budget tonight.

As advertised, the budget totals just over $20 million. More than $12 million of that would be the Education Fund, while almost $5 million would be the Operations Fund.

School officials will also discuss a tentative collective bargaining agreement, and a $250 donation from the Cheryl Lyn Welter Family Charitable Foundation will be up for the board’s official approval. In other business tonight, Superintendent Dr. William Reichhart will review a number of proposed updates to the school board’s bylaws and policies that have been recommended by policy consultant NEOLA.

Tonight’s Knox School Board meeting starts at 6:30 in the Knox Schools Administrative Office.
