More COVID-19 Cases Reported in Starke, Marshall, Pulaski Counties

Another 18 Marshall County residents have tested positive for COVID-19. The county’s total is now at 1,325, according to Tuesday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health. Starke County had nine new cases, for a total of 393. Pulaski County’s case count increased by four to 147.

The state as a whole is now at 150,664 cases. Another 48 deaths were added to the state’s count, for a total of 3,775. There have also been 233 deaths where COVID-19 is believed to be a factor, but there was no positive test.

There are more than 1,400 COVID-19 patients in Indiana’s hospitals, according to the state’s latest statistics, the most since May 5. Indiana’s seven-day positivity rates continue to increase, both for unique individuals and for all tests.
