Starke and Pulaski counties continue to see high early voting turnout. Starke County Clerk Bernadette Manuel says 1,212 people had voted in-person as of Friday afternoon, while 1,662 voters have returned their mail-in ballots.
Pulaski County has had more than 750 in-person voters, according to Clerk JoLynn Behny. Of the 575 mail-in ballots sent out, 366 have been completed and sent back.
Those eligible to vote by mail have until Thursday, October 22 to request a ballot. In-person absentee voting continues until Monday, November 2 at noon.
