The West Central School Corporation is reporting two cases of COVID-19. A student at the high school and a staff member at the elementary school have reportedly tested positive. In a letter to community members Monday, Superintendent Dan Zylstra said the two cases were completely unrelated.
He adds that everyone who was considered to be a close contact has been notified directly, and the school is being cleaned and sanitized. Zylstra urges families to continue to take precautions to slow the spread of COVID-19, in order to keep the school and community safe.
