The Culver Community School Board members considered an eLearning policy Monday night.
Superintendent Karen Shuman explained that changes were made as to how virtual instruction is conducted at the school corporation which were incorporated into the policy update.
“The first type is the eLearning plan which we put on our school calendar and those are for professional development and parent/teacher conferences,” said Shuman. “Another one is eLearning in case we have to cancel, or in lieu of canceling, because of snow, weather or other known conditions. The third would be that we’re closing because of COVID. We redefined each one of those into our eLearning plan.”
The board adopted the policy as presented during their meeting Monday night.
