Knox students will return to the classroom Monday. Knox Community School Superintendent Dr. William Reichhart says the school corporation will go back to in-person learning. Students have been attending class online since fall break.
“We all want our students back for in-person learning, and we are trying to move that direction,” Reichhart explains. “The reason why we had to not have in-person learning for the last two weeks is because of staff either testing positive or quarantining, and we feel like that will come to an end here, hopefully, come next Monday.”
Reichhart says the administrators told the school board Tuesday that online learning has gone reasonably well, and there’s been very little pushback from parents. Students who had already been using the virtual learning option before fall break will continue with that format.
