La Porte County Company Awarded Grant to Advance 21st Century Solutions in Defense

The Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC), in coordination with the Indiana Defense Network, awarded J&L Dimensional in La Porte County a grant to foster innovation and technology development in the defense industry. 

According to the IEDC, the grants will enable businesses to “create new platforms or processes utilizing smart technology to improve data management, efficiency and analysis among contractors with the U.S. Department of Defense. 

J&L Dimensional will use $250,000 in grant funds to develop a platform that improves decision making, increases efficiency of production and maintenance, repair and overhaul operations, and lowers costs by creating linkages to previously inaccessible data.  It will centralize all part-related information in an accessible cloud environment. 

Other grant recipients include ITAMCO in Marshall County and Mursix Corporation in Delaware County.
