The Starke County Park Board will continue narrowing down the list of potential Yellow River kayak launch sites tonight. Engineer Mark Wilson with Jones Petrie Rafinski presented a kayak launch feasibility study last month. Now, board members are deciding which sites to pursue.
In other business tonight, the park board will get updates on their new website and the Veterans Memorial Plaza set to be dedicated tomorrow. Members will also discuss a grant for work at the Bass Lake Beach, as well as a grant opportunity from the Indiana Destination Development Corporation.
Tonight’s Starke County Park Board meeting starts at 6:00 in Starke County Annex Building No. 1.
